Nice one David,
thanks for sharing this list of sweet shots.
And the stories are a bonus too. Even though imagining what the circumstances of a shot might be, as a fellow photographer, it’s cool to imaging being in your shoes during any particular show.

Hi Danielle,

Thanks for the compliment. I was using a D700 as my main camera and a D90 as my second camera. She’s really great at holding her poses and because we had interviewed her earlier in the day she remembered me and it appeared she held a few specific poses towards my direction. It was pretty cool.

looks like you had more luck at f2.0 than i did – what camera are you using?
i have to say, off all the photos i’ve seen of robyn recently, the lighting has been so great – in terms of complimenting her poses and crazy action on stage. wish i could get a hallowed photo pass for another of her shows.
